3 Cool Things I thought you might like #0
Every week, I'll post 3 cool products, links, articles, or anything else you might find useful in your day-to-day - whether it's a life hack, a way to save money, or just something cool.
I grew up in Israel and, for the past two years, have been based in NYC as a full-time Computer Science student at
. I love reading tech and finance news and buying useful (and sometimes not-so-useful) stuff. On average, I listen to two hours of podcasts every day while walking my dog and voice chatting with the Perplexity agent about today’s news to stay up to date. Each morning I read two or three newsletters before getting out of bed to catch the main stories, and when I have free time I watch movies at home or head out to AMC (Finished watching the F1 movie - highly recommended). The concept for this newsletter is pretty simple. I’ll keep it short and straight to the point (AKA 1Tachless, as we say in Hebrew) so you’ll actually read it and maybe even use it.
Also, every week I’ll ask 3 friends to share here something they liked or thought others might find interesting. It doesn’t have to be the newest AI agent; it could be a cool update, a funny X post, or a random fun fact.
No rules! I trust my friends to keep things interesting.
So, for this week, here are my top three cool things I thought you might like:
NYC clothing pickups
It’s summer now, and you’ll probably start prepping for the upcoming winter soon. Over the weekend I cleaned out my closet and gathered a bunch of clothes to donate. I found this amazing charity - United Breast Cancer Foundation, that comes to your place and picks up the bags right from your doorstep.Google Sheets AI feature
If you work with Sheets or track things online, try using Gemini’s built-in feature. Just type=AI
, write the prompt, and specify the cells you want for context. I haven’t found a killer use case yet, so let me know if you come up with anything.Bypass paywalls
You know that feeling when a website makes you pay or subscribe? Add this Chrome extension (or go to its website and paste the URL) to unlock the content. It works about 90 % of the time for me. You’re welcome!

Prompt of the week (ChatGPT 4o):
Can you create a high contrast close portrait of my dog focusing on the front head in black and white close up. 35MM lens 4k HD quality giving proud expression black shadow background only face is visible with profile looking sharpened. Ratio 4:3
(It works OK with people's profile pictures, but better with pets' profiles).
Meme of the week:
"Tachless" (תכל'ס) is a Yiddish word, borrowed from Hebrew, that means the bottom line, the essence, or the practical details. It conveys the idea of getting straight to the point and focusing on what's important, often without unnecessary elaboration.
